A program of the South Coast LGBTQ+ Network

The Young Families Hub

Real, checked-out help for young parents and young families across the South Coast: health, school, housing, money, baby basics, safety, and your rights. Welcoming and affirming for every family, no exceptions.

🌈

You belong here, whoever you are, whoever you love.

Becoming a parent young is hard enough. Doing it while LGBTQ+, or while your family is not in your corner, can feel like there is nowhere that is actually for you. This hub is. Everything here is for every young parent on the South Coast, and it is built so that queer, trans, and nonbinary parents, two-mom and two-dad families, and young dads find themselves in it too. No judgment, no hoops, free.

Real people, not just a website

Talk to someone through Elevate

This hub is run through the Network's Elevate LGBTQ+ Youth program: free case management, home visiting, and mentoring for LGBTQ+ youth and their families through age 24. So behind every link there is a real person on the South Coast who can help you sort out what to do next, no pressure and no cost. We help you find the right door. We do not replace your doctor, lawyer, or caseworker.
