A recurring social for autistic and neurodivergent LGBTQ+ folks on the South Coast. Predictable format. Low-stim by default. No pressure to mask.
South Coast LGBTQ+ Community Center. Walk in, find a seat, settle.
At Groundwork. Same format, smaller group, monthly cadence.
Same start time, same general flow each session. We tell you what is coming before it comes. No surprise activities.
Low-volume environment. Soft lighting where we control it. No background music unless the group asks for it. Sensory breaks welcomed.
Stim, info-dump, parallel-play, leave early, arrive late. All of it is fine. The space exists so you do not have to perform neurotypical to belong.
Direct words. Clear instructions. We do not use euphemisms or hint at what we mean. If something changes, we say so.
RSVP helps us plan the room, the snacks, and the seating. It also tells us if it is your first time so we know to look for you at the door.
Form not loading? Email info@sclgbtqnetwork.org or text (774) 775-2656. Walk-ins also welcome.
