The South Coast LGBTQ+ Network respects your privacy. This page explains what information we collect when you use this site, how we use it, and the choices you have. If anything here is unclear, email info@sclgbtqnetwork.org and a real person will get back to you.
What we collect
We collect only what you give us. That usually means a name, email address, and optional phone number when you fill out a contact form, RSVP for an event, sign up for our newsletter, or make a donation. Donations are processed by Givebutter and Stripe. Their privacy policies cover the payment data they handle. We never see or store your card number.
The site uses standard analytics to understand which pages people visit. This data is aggregated and not tied to your identity.
How we use it
We use your contact information to respond to you, send the updates you signed up for, coordinate event participation, and acknowledge donations. We use analytics to make the site better.
What we share
We do not sell your information. We do not rent or trade your information. We share it only with the service providers we need to operate (email, payment processing, hosting), and only what is required for them to do their job. If the law requires us to disclose information, we will.
Cookies
This site uses cookies for basic functionality and analytics. You can disable cookies in your browser settings. The site will still work.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.
Your choices
You can ask us to update or delete your information at any time. Email info@sclgbtqnetwork.org with the subject line Privacy Request and we will respond within 30 days.
Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, we will change the date at the top. Material changes will also be communicated by email to anyone on our newsletter.
