presenting the new bedford pride festivalPride at Buttonwood Park has always been the South Coast LGBTQ+ community's most anticipated event of the year. On June 3, from 11-4 pm, we are pulling out the stops to create another fun-filled extravaganza for everyone. Pride 2023 will provide the perfect backdrop for another action-packed month full of Pride events for all in the LGBTQ+ community to enjoy with their families, friends, and allies!

You won't find a more active or passionate LGBTQ+ community than the one in Taunton, Massachusetts. This year, they're putting all their energy into creating another amazing Pride Festival on June 10, from noon to 5 pm, at Hopewell Park. Join us for this special day full of family fun to celebrate love and togetherness for everyone.

Glow! the pride afterpartyGet together with your friends (21 years old and older only) after the Taunton Pride festival at Bobby's Place! 6 pm till close. $10 cover. 2 Jerks BBQ food truck will be on site.

kaleidoscope: art through your eyes"Kaleidoscope: Art Through Your Eyes" is a collaboration between The South Coast LGTBQ+ Network and Gallery X of New Bedford where people can view and purchase artwork from some of the South Coast's most talented artists. From May 31 to June 25.

"midsummer in the woods": A Pride GalaAn evening of cocktails, hors-d’oeuvres, and dinner at Round the Bend Farm in Dartmouth, Mass., with performances by Punk Cellist Ian Legge and local creative group The Performing Arts Collective, sets a creative and joyful tone for Pride 2023. Tickets are $200. All proceeds benefit the building of the future South Coast LGBTQ+ Community Center. June 1 at 6:00 p.m.

pride wellness walkWhat better way to celebrate the first weekend of Pride this summer than with an invigorating walk around Buttonwood Park with Dr. Michael Rocha of the New Bedford Wellness Initiative? No registration necessary. June 3 at 9 am.

PRIDE YoGA with jeffJeff Costa from Sangha Studio in New Bedford helps open Pride 2023 in Buttonwood Park with an hour of mindfulness, meditation, yoga... and togetherness. June 3 at 10 am.

pride film eventThe South Coast LGBTQ+ Network is pleased to partner with the New Bedford Whaling National Historical Park to present The Lonely Doryman from local filmmaker Noah Duarte. Tickets are free, but a limited number of seats are available, first come, first served. Get your ticket today!

LGBTQ+ BREAKFAST CLUBFor our older LGBTQ+ friends in the South Coast, we're hosting another in a series of Breakfast Club events at Mikey B's in New Bedford on Sunday, June 4, at 10 am. It's free to attend! Register with the link or email [email protected] to reserve your spot!

AHA! Pride block partyThe folks at AHA! New Bedford and the Queer Arts Council of New Bedford always throw a great block party during Pride. Join them and all your friends at Custom House Square on Thursday, June 8, beginning at 4:00 p.m.

reflections on faithOne often-neglected subject of crucial importance to the LGBTQ+ community is the subject of spirituality. In the Reflections on Faith series, Andy Pollock, president of The South Coast LGBTQ+ Network, asks the leaders of area houses of worships for their perspectives. PRIDE BOWLING NIGHTThis Pride, we're hitting the lanes at Wonder Bowl in New Bedford for some fun with older South Coast LGBTQ+ individuals. The event takes place on June 25 from 6 pm - 8 pm.

pride shabbatJoin us for a special Pride service at Taunton’s beautiful, 110-year-old synagogue, the Congregation Agudath Achim, to celebrate a LBGTQ+ community of friends and family. Kiddush to follow services with traditional challah, coffee, and pastries.
